As well as our creative arts, education and day opportunities at AIM, we also run two community and wellbeing spaces, free to attend and open to everyone. The Creekmoor Wellbeing Café and the Warm Space at AIM Kinson are relaxed, friendly and inclusive spaces where everyone is welcome. They’re designed to be pressure-free places to drop in, get to know AIM and more about our programmes, meet our team and use the space at your own pace.
Whether you fancy a homemade meal, a hot drink and good company, want to take part in gentle activities, or simply sit and unwind, you’ll find a warm welcome here.
Take a look below for details of our Wellbeing Café and Warm Space. All of our community programmes are drop-in, so there’s no need to book.
If you have any questions, feel a little unsure, or would like to let us know you’re coming beforehand, please feel free to contact fran@aimcommunity.org to arrange a friendly chat.

A free and welcoming space for the whole community.
The Wellbeing Café is a relaxed, friendly and inclusive place where you can enjoy a homemade meal, hot drinks and good company. Whether you want to take part in activities, meet new people or simply take a moment to unwind, you are very welcome here.
Our space offers something for everyone. We have a sports hall with a pool table and table tennis, a multi-use games area, a garden space, and plenty of comfortable areas to sit, chat and play board games. There’s also a music room, a Wii, and seasonal activities throughout the year. We’re often joined by partner organisations and visiting professionals who offer additional support, advice and signposting in an informal way.
Alongside this, we regularly incorporate activities focused on wellbeing, helping people to relax, connect with others and support their emotional and mental wellbeing. If you’d like a more in-depth conversation, our two Occupational Therapists are also on hand for a friendly chat or a bit of extra support.
Everyone welcome
Come as you are and make yourself at home. The Wellbeing Café is open to individuals, families and anyone in the local community.

AIM GreenSpace
We’re excited to be developing our green spaces at AIM Kinson and AIM Creekmoor, creating welcoming, sensory rich environments for our young people, clients the wider AIM Community. At AIM Kinson, our established sensory garden is already flourishing. When in bloom, it becomes a vibrant space filled with the sound of bees, beautiful butterflies, and the calming scent of lavender. It offers an experience that supports wellbeing, relaxation, and connection with nature.
Last year, we began developing our garden within the outdoor space at AIM Creekmoor. Staff and day provision clients worked together to build the garden from scratch, creating raised beds, repurposed tyre planters, bird feeders, and bug hotels. Backing onto tranquil woodland, our Creekmoor site sits alongside local wildlife, with regular sightings of foxes, squirrels, and a wide variety of birds.

Our Vision
This year, we’re looking to grow and enhance our green spaces even further, making them an even more valuable resource for AIM Community users and local community
groups who enjoy the many wellbeing
benefits of gardening, growing and the outdoors. Our plans include creating
additional raised beds for
fruit, vegetables, and herbs, as well as
developing more sensory areas.....and.....
